Speaker Profile: Doctor of Basic Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China, Second-level Professor at Shanghai University, Distinguished Professor of Weichang Scholars, Leading Talent of Shanghai, and Teaching Master of the National Ten Thousand Talents Program. Currently a member of the International Department of Tensor and Matrix Theory at Shanghai University

Director of the Research Center, President of the Educational Mathematics Professional Committee of the China Association of Higher Education, and chief editor and editorial board member of several international mathematics journals. Win first place

He has won the Wu Xinghua Mathematics Award for the first time, the Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, the Wang Kuancheng Talent Cultivation Award, the Shanghai Talent Cultivation Award, and the second prize of the Shanghai Natural Science Award (ranked first). He has also won the first prize of the Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement Award three times (all ranked first) and the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award (ranked second).

The main research areas are matrix algebra and quantum computing. Six academic works have been published with Higher Education Press, etc., and in Automatica, SIAM J. MAA. More than 200 academic papers indexed by SCI have been published in renowned academic journals. Selected for the Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking of the world's top 2% of scientists (1960-2024), among the world's top 100,000 scientists, and consecutively selected as a highly cited Chinese researcher for 11 times. He/She has presided over more than 20 projects, including international cooperation projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China general projects, and Doctoral Program Foundation projects of the Ministry of Education. He/She has visited and conducted scientific cooperative research at over 20 renowned universities in the United States and other countries and regions.

He/She presided over the first batch of national first-class undergraduate courses "Linear Algebra" and the first batch of Shanghai first-class undergraduate courses "Mathematical Exploration and Discovery", and was selected as one of the first batch of "Model Undergraduate Classrooms of Shanghai Universities".

A total of 13 postdoctoral researchers, 30 doctoral students and 59 master's students have been trained.

Abstract of the report: This report introduces the construction and experience of first-class courses from three aspects: the relationship between educational mathematics and the construction of first-class courses, thoughts on the construction of linear algebra courses, and the construction of teaching materials for linear algebra courses.
